Happy Birthday Aidan!

It is such a happy feeling to receive a text/email from a previous birth client saying they are expecting again and want me there to document their story again! I documented the arrival of Anna & Richard’s first, Emmett, back when I first started doing birth stories! So I was thrilled to be able to be with them again while they welcomed sweet Aidan in to their family! I always laugh so much when I’m working with the Roberts family, they really are a joy to hang out with. Aidan’s birth day felt like I was a part of their family!

It was crazy to see how much Aidan resembled his big brother Emmett! Emmett is definitely an all-boy kind of boy so it was funny trying to keep him calm and entertained in the hospital room after Aidan was born. Its always fun to see how older siblings respond to meeting their baby siblings. I’ve seen all kinds of different interactions, from madly in love to wildy uninterested to kinda scared! Emmett was very interested in his little brother while also interested in all the gadgets and objects a hospital room has to offer a curious almost 2 year old little boy. I can only imagine what life is like for Anna now with those two little growing boys and their child-at-heart dad! I hope I get to see the Roberts family again soon to document their family’s growth!
