Happy Birthday Connor!

Sooo, I’ve let myself get waaaaay too far behind on blogging thanks to all the crazy going on in the world lately! Since the pandemic started I had to cancel all of my upcoming births and I am missing it so so much! So today I’m throwing it back to January, to the night/morning Connor Royce joined the world! It was the night LSU won the national championship, Connor graciously let us all watch them take it home before he decided to start his arrival! Lakin was such a trooper and it was so admirable watching Lakin & Ian get through labor together! They decided not to find out the baby’s gender and their sweet baby BOY was born at 5:30am on January 14th. Lakin wanted a boy soooo badly so the joy overtook the room when the doctor announced it! But little man gave us all a little scare right after delivery when he took a few minutes to figure out the whole breathing thing, they took him from mom and the crew of nurses rushed in as we watched them work quickly and diligently to get little man back on track and within a few more minutes he was back in his very emotional mom & dad’s arms! I’ve been photographing Lakin & Ian for a few years now, I did Lakin’s college senior photos, then she met Ian and I did their engagements, bridals, pregnancy announcement, and maternity photos so it was an absolute honor to be able to be by their side and document this huge milestone with them! I cant wait to see them in Fall for their first family session with me!
