Courtney | Kisatchie Maternity Session

I've been so excited for this session since my beautiful best friend found out she was expecting! Courtney wanted something 'different' for her pictures, and I wanted to give her some gorgeous photos! I already had a look in mind for her session I just needed to find a location. After some research, I found this beautiful area in Kisatchie National Forest! Our first date was rained out and rain chances were still high for the rescheduled date. When it came down to the day of, there were still chances but lower so we took a chance and took the two hour drive to the spot. I'm so glad we chanced it cause the rain held out and we had a fabulous session. We did some hiking, we got wet, Courtney got soaked, we sweated ALOT, we got lost, we lost cell service, and we came close to running out of gas but her session was exactly what I envisioned it to be!

P.S. Big thanks to Lacey (shown in the last photo) who tagged along and helped with hair and makeup, helping Courtney change, holding my camera while I tried to jump from rock to rock, testing out how deep the creek was in some spots, and just all her help in general! We both couldn't have done it all without you!! 

Sweet Quinn will be here so soon and I cannot wait to meet her! Courtney is going to be a wonderful mother!
