In Memory of Ezra Linn!

I am very happy to have this very special birth story on the blog! I first met Nicole & Jorden for their pregnancy announcement session last year! These two waited, and tried, and prayed so hard for a very long time for this sweet blessing so I was overjoyed to help them make that special announcement!

These two have been through so much and my heart was so full when Nicole told me the news and asked me to document their birth story! Ezra was later diagnosed CHD (congenital heart defect) so Nicole was under the care and watch of alot doctors and Ezra would have to have open heart surgery shortly after birth. Nicole contacted me on April 12th that she was being induced due to a few concerns from her doctors and would be delivering in New Orleans in order to be close to Ezra's heart surgeon. So that night I made my way to New Orleans and began documenting the start of Ezra's long awaited arrival! It was a long night for everyone, but Ezra made her arrival late the next morning! You'll see in the photos how just beautiful this story is! Nicole had an awesome support system by her side throughout the whole process, her sweet husband and sister! Shortly after her birth, Ezra was taken away to NICU and then transported to the hospital where her surgery would take place. I am happy to report that Ezra's surgery went well and she is now recovering!

Sweet Ezra gained her angel wings a few short months later due to complications with her heart condition. If you’re reading this now, I just ask that you please take a quick moment of silence and pray for the hearts of Nicole & Jorden. Even though time has passed, may we continue to think of and pray for them and remember Ezra!
