Gabriella's Lake Charles Senior Session
Gabriella’s senior session was my very first session of 2019 and I always feel like my first session of the year sets the vibe for the year! Gabriella set my year off with warm vibes, cute outfits, and great light! While we are stuck in this rainy week I’m definitely craving weather like the day of her session! I loved the variety in her outfits! When I meet my clients I like to see their outfits before we start so I can envision spots to compliment each of their outfits. I think you’ll see in Gabriella’s session below how I planned our spots out to do that! For the floral dress I wanted to go with simple backgrounds to let the pattern of her dress stand out, for the yellow top I went with the palm trees in the sunshine because that outfit felt like warm sunny vibes to me, and then for her black overall dress I felt like some urban spots like the rusty stairs and rooftop garage would work well with it! Its very important that you include variety in your outfits so that your whole session doesn’t look similar. Mix it up a bit! One way to keep variety in your choices is to mix up your types of outfits, for example instead of doing multiple dresses or skirts, mix in a romper or jumpsuit, also choose different lengths in your dresses. Do one dress short or long, one romper or jumper, and one skirt/shorts + top. Make sure you add some patterns in also and mix up the colors a bit. I would be happy to give you more ideas and help you choose your outfits for your session! We can chat anytime!
Anyway, back to Gabriella! I love this session, I miss this weather, and I’m happy to share this pretty girl on the blog!
